McGuirk's Central Vermont Railway
Marty has recently started construction of his latest rendition of the Central Vermont Railway. Follow along on his blog.
Here's an interesting On3 layout with a southern Louisiana bayou theme. Even more interesting is that it's an Australian built layout.
|Cliff Powers' Mississippi,
Alabama & Gulf
The "Magnolia Route" is a 3-level design. My favorite part is the uppermost level which features the Port of New Orleans and the Union Passenger Terminal.
MoPac Railroad Bagnell Branch
A nice point-to-point layout based on the MoP branchline, and a bit of the Rock Island
Chesapeake, Wheeling and Erie Railroad
A free-lanced, coal hauling railroad set in West Virginia in the mid-1970s.
|David Stewart's Appalachian
A nice O scale layout with some unique features.
|Mike Burgett's C&O
Clifton Forge Division
Mike has a beautifully scenicked model railroad that is also fully signaled. Wait until you see his CTC panel.
|The Crescent City Model Railroad
New Orleans, Louisiana
The CCMRC dates back to 1956 and has seen several layouts during it's history.
|Charlie Comstock's Railroad Pages
including his Bear Creek and South Jackson Railroad
Charlie's layout is set in the Pacific northwest. Several useful construction projects covered here as well.
Houston's Grande Pacific Railroad
Art has a large triple-decked railroad featuring heavy traffic and switching.
1892 Housatonic Railroad
This site also has numerous project articles for some really neat stuff.
Silicon Valley Lines

“Main North” in Australia
(Also check out his DCC material)
Port Rowan in S scale
Trevor uses a blog type format to present his S scale pike based on a Canadian National branchline from the 1950s. The more I read about Trevor's layout, the better I like it.

|Lance Mindheim's East Rail
His East Rail layout represents a slice of the Miami industrial rail scene. He has really captured the flavor of the area.
Atkinson's Iowa Interstate Railroad
Joe's Subdivision 4, West End model of the IIRR is well done. A mixture of prototype and model scenes, it takes a bit of digging around to see it all, but it's worth the time.
|Wayne Roderick's Teton Short Line
Here's another signaled layout, plus Wayne is big on the electronic and computerized aspects of model railroading.
|Jack Burgess' Yosemite
A nice HO scale layout based on the real Yosemite Valley Railroad located in California.
Jack's modeling is superb!
Chris Palmieri is a (real) nomadic railroader who has gone to considerable lengths in planning the future Vicksburg District of the Natchez Trace & Orient Railway.
Utah Colorado Western
Lee's excellent layout has been featured many times in the hobby press.
