Ten days later and the sub-roadbed
into the Louisiana Central's Willis yard is near
complete. I still have to do some surfacing work at
the panel joints, as the Homasote sold today isn’t very
consistent in it’s thickness and there is invariably a
height mismatch when butting panels up to each other.
A little sanding and filling will take care of that.
The end of the passing siding here is visible way down at
the end where that dark spot is (that is a pair of
switches).
