| The Tin Spike has been driven. This is
the first trackage to go down on the Louisiana Central. This
trackage is the beginning of the hidden staging trackwork.
This (and the track that will be branching off at the switch) will
be used to stage Louisiana Central trains (four in all). If
you look closely, you'll notice that the left track will be curving
off to the left. It will continue for another 15 feet or so
hidden under the hilly terrain of the Spencer Lumber Company's line
up into the woods. I'm using Atlas code 83 for the hidden trackage. All the exposed trackage will be Shinohara and a bit of Micro Engineering. |
