| A birds eye view: here the Louisiana
Central main is curving to the left as it climbs a grade, then
enters Maynard down where the cork roadbed ends. That's the
Illinois Central trackage over where the train sits. The train
is on the main and the passing siding is the adjacent track with the
missing segment. That curved track coming off the IC passing
track is the interchange track shared with the Louisiana Central. |
