Here's a close-up view of the wiring station
partially seen under Willis in an earlier photo. This is the
second of three booster districts on the railroad. This
district is further subdivided into three circuit breaker protected
districts. The circuit breakers are DCC Specialties PSX series
boards; they're the large green boards in the center. The two
smaller boards are optical detector boards that will power IR
sensors embedded in the west staging tracks. These will light
panel indicators showing train locations in staging. The black
box at bottom right is a Lenz LZV100 command station and booster,
and the power supply is to the left. I still have to pull a
couple more track buses to the breakers, and all
of the wiring to the detectors. Eventually there will be other
terminal blocks to the left for various other layout wiring.
