Louisiana Central Railroad Company Layout Scenes



February 9, 2013:  This day was an Historic Event.  On this date the first train rolled across the Louisiana Central Railroad.  Captured here by the company photographer, the train is heading southwest and will be arriving in Willis soon.  Heading up the train is engine number 5582, an ALCO RSD-5 recently acquired from the C&O railroad.  She will eventually make her way to the paint shop, but for this day she appears in her original C&O livery.
