Our goal was to see the northern terminus of the A&amp;LM Railway -and- the home of the Ashley, Drew &amp; Northern Railway (the AD&amp;N).  The first thing we came across was the diesel shop for the AD&amp;N. The locomotive #1810 on the right is a GP10,  former IC GP9 #9352. It was rebuilt into a GP10\/GP9u at the IC Paducah shops in March 1978.  She was put in service for the AD&amp;N in April 1978.  The locomotive #1812 at left is a GP28.   Built as IC #9429, she was purchased by AD&amp;N in December 1983. This locomotive is an EMD SW1200.
