Just a short post to give y’all an update on the layout.\u00a0 Benchwork construction has been proceeding nicely.\u00a0 Three of the five major sections have been completed (photos on the main website for those interested).\u00a0 The two major sections left are the peninsulas.\u00a0 There are also numerous corners to “fill out” with angled L-girder supports.<\/p>\n
Overall, I’m pleased with the progress thus far.\u00a0 Once this basic supporting framework is complete, I’ll turn my attention to the roadbed and supports, and of course, the track there upon.\u00a0 I also have to deal with the bridge issue across the doorway.\u00a0 Research continues on that project.<\/p>\n
