One featured a beautiful scene of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lacentralrr.com\/Blog\/2019\/06\/23\/union-station-chicago\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1725\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sun rays penetrating the main concourse<\/a> of the station, the other depicting an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lacentralrr.com\/Blog\/2020\/05\/03\/chicago-union-station-concourse\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"2068\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">overall view<\/a> of that space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This image zooms in on that information counter in the latter photograph, and shows the train arrival board.  It&#8217;s an interesting combination of neon and chalk board, with the train arrival times and comments updated continually.  We&#8217;ve all read about the pride the railroads had in running trains on time back in the day.  Looking over the arrivals times below shows something a bit lackluster.
