{"id":2240,"date":"2020-10-11T09:02:32","date_gmt":"2020-10-11T14:02:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lacentralrr.com\/Blog\/?p=2240"},"modified":"2020-10-11T09:02:32","modified_gmt":"2020-10-11T14:02:32","slug":"yet-another-yard-master","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lacentralrr.com\/Blog\/2020\/10\/11\/yet-another-yard-master\/","title":{"rendered":"Yet Another Yard Master"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We&#8217;ve seen the office of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lacentralrr.com\/Blog\/2019\/04\/14\/the-yardmasters-office\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1649\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">yardmaster at the C&amp;NW Proviso Yard<\/a> near Chicago.  And we took a look at the yardmaster in his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lacentralrr.com\/Blog\/2020\/06\/14\/another-yard-master\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"2119\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">office on the Indiana Harbor Belt<\/a>.  Today we&#8217;ll take a peek into the yardmaster&#8217;s office at the Illinois Central&#8217;s yard in Chicago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This seems to be the sparsest and most cramped of the offices we&#8217;ve seen.  Yet I&#8217;m sure the gentleman in the suit has all he needs at hand.  And of course, a good supply of Sanborn coffee sitting at the edge of the stove.
