The city was considered the hub of the meat packing industry, and boasted a huge conglomeration of stock yards.  Naturally the railroads played a huge role in this industry, and seen here is one of a constant stream of &#8220;cattle trains&#8221; coming into the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The location is the Chicago and North Western&#8217;s yard in Chicago, and it&#8217;s December of 1942.
