Okay, here's a view of the south staging area,
now shown with the track mostly in place. That track curving
in from the top left is the Illinois Central coming from
Willis. This track will stage the northbound I.C. train, and
later during the session will receive the southbound train.
The other track is for the Texas and Pacific; it continues to the
right into Monterey. This track is several inches lower than
the yard and industrial trackage that will also be here. The
area where the tracks are side by side will be hidden behind some
large industrial buildings.
