A view similar to the one a few photos back,
but now standing on a stool to give a better view of the track
layout. All of the track has been laid on the high line.
It's all wired, the Tortoise switch motors have been installed, and
it is fully operational now. I sprayed the entire section with
Rust-Oleum Camouflage Brown paint to give it a base color.
Later I'll paint individual ties various shades of gray and brown,
and will rust the rails. This is the first time I've used the
now popular method of spraying on a base coat of paint. Note
the three (hidden) staging tracks below the logging trackage. |
