Louisiana Central Railroad Company Layout Construction

<< Previous
After nearly a year since the high line benchwork was erected, construction  has resumed in the area.  Here's an overall view from across the layout room.  The double switchback is in, and the lower mainline has started heading west on the journey to the sawmill two townships away.  The high line spans over 20 feet along that far wall.  The peninsula in the center of the photo is where the mill complex will be located, and is the last section of benchwork to be developed.  The section in the foreground is the Willis yard.  The mainline and passing siding are down and they're running just below the view caught by the camera.
