The inaugural train roars by at high speed!  That's a 2% grade the train is tackling, but the gutsy ALCO takes the hill in stride, barely slowing as the train ascends the steep grade.

This trackage is part of the hidden staging track for the Louisiana Central and it represents the line between Willis and Bude, Mississippi.  Willis is ahead just around a curve outside of this picture.
